q. How is my meat prepared?
Your order is prepared on the day the package is sent. The meats are carefully cut by our artisan butchers early in the morning, vacuum-packed, then labeled, before being packaged. Our carrier will pick up your package from our workshop, for delivery to your home the next day.
q. How is my meat delivered?
The meat and cold cuts are vacuum-packed and labeled. They are transported in a secure box. Transport takes place at a controlled temperature between 0° to 4°C. For France, ChronoFresh transport is the safest and most efficient solution for the delivery of food to individuals, at a controlled temperature.
The temperature of your package is monitored throughout delivery to ensure maximum freshness. For Europe, it is the cardboard that keeps your meat cool. We have chosen for you the best on the market for the delivery of fresh products by opting for an ISOPRO® system (extruded closed-cell foam of 35kg/m3 double-sided metallized) which allows food to be kept in positive cold from 0 to 4°C. To this we add refrigerant packs to maintain the cold chain until the place of delivery.
q. How long will it take for my meat to be delivered?
For France, we deliver from Thursday to Saturday morning within 24 to 48 hours.
Once your package has been delivered to Chronofresh, you have the choice via their delivery platform to choose the day that suits you. For Europe, in order to satisfy you as best as possible and meet logistical requirements, we only deliver on Thursdays and Fridays.
q. How long will it take for my meat to be delivered?
All our meats are vacuum-packed for better conservation, less exposure to temperature variations and for better storage in your fridge. The number of pieces per vacuum-packed package is indicated on each product sheet . Vacuum-packed meats logically have a darker color than fresh meats. Furthermore, vacuum-packed meats give off a stronger odor than others. This difference is linked to the concentration of aromas during the process, not 'worry to have: the smell dissipates after a few minutes.
q. When should I open the bag of my meat?
For better taste quality and perfect cooking, we advise you to remove the meat from its packaging 2 hours before cooking, and to leave it at room temperature.
q. How long can I keep my meat in the refrigerator?
Vacuum-packed, 4 to 11 days depending on the date on the label of your product.
WARNING, if the bag is perforated or opened, the expiration date indicated on the packaging is no longer guaranteed.
q. How long can I keep my meat in the freezer?
You can also freeze our meats directly upon receipt of your package and keep the product for as long as you wish. However, for a better experience we advise you not to exceed 3 months of freezing in a healthy freezer without a freezer, and defrost your meat little by little (i.e. about 24 hours before, out of its packaging, in your fridge).
q. Are your products halal?
Yes, all our products are halal. We are personally involved in all stages, from the birth of the animal to the ritual slaughter carried out by our own sacrificers or by that of the slaughterhouse. Its latest are systematically selected less than an hour from the farm in order to avoid any stress or injury to the animal. All slaughtering takes place without electronarcosis, without electroshock and without stunning, manually, 1 to 1, and in the whenever possible, keep the animal's head right side up. We also attach great importance to breeding conditions and the well-being of the animal.
